What is an EcoRoom

“I thought this was Grand Designs, and it was going to cost a fortune, in fact I would have spent the same money getting something very ordinary. At every level this was fantastic value...”

EcoRooms are a Scandinavian inspired contemporary extension available in a range of styles to suit all types of homes, from the traditional to the very modern.

The exterior of the building is designed to complement rather than match in, and uses the beauty of western red cedar cladding as the primary exterior wall finish, complemented if desired with a range of finishes in brick, stone, render, copper and zinc, to name but a few.

Glazing starts with low E double glazing with Argon filled cavity as standard, and can be upgraded to triple glazing. Window and door framing starts with recyclable uPVC as standard, and can upgrade to aluminium or timber.

Thermal performance is typically at least 20% better than current new domestic building regulations for insulation and air tightness, giving low energy consumption for heating and comfort and contributing positively to the BER (Building Energy rating) score for overall house.

Designed on timber framed house principles, EcoRoom extensions are factory built to provide greater engineering precision, less waste, greater efficiency, lower carbon footprint, and better value for money than traditional built extensions.

Delivered to site complete or in factory built sections and craned onto a prepared base, all work on site is usually completed in less than 2 short weeks.

EcoRoom extensions are warrantied for 10 years under an independently bonded insurance scheme
